Originally from Ft. Lauderdale, Richard moved from playing trumpet and bass guitar early in life to concentrating on refining his guitar skills. That mastery is evident today as he meticulously nails an intricate lead on his Fender Telecaster. His guitar sings with the depth of Richards’s early music influences – Molly Hatchett, The Doobie Brothers and Creedence Clearwater Revival. Richard played in a number of bands in his music career including “The Atypicals” and “City” before joining V Six in 2003. When asked what he likes most about playing in the band, Richard sums it up nicely: “Free beer!”
