In addition to lead and supporting vocals, Roz plays a Japanese Fender Precision Bass. Musical interests range from 60's and 70's icons such as the Beatles and Led Zepellin to 80's and 90's punk, indie and alterna-rockers such as The Clash, Fugazi, Robyn Hitchcock, Jane's Addiction, Guided By Voices.
By day she’s a wetland biologist for the federal government (aka "bio-crat"). Roz grew up in Huntsville, Alabama, home to the curious mix of rednecks and rocket scientists that make her what she is today - a consummate “hippy chick”. Roz previously played with the phenomenal Gainesville chick ensemble known (to about 11 people) as Commander Foxy Pants.
Roz moves easily from hard rock classics to acoustic ballads. Whether singing backup and supporting auxiliary percussion or simply focusing on a complex bass line, Roz brings her own unique energy and presence to every song.
Roz says: “I love playing with V Six because we never forget to have a good time.”
